From May 25 to 26, "Voices of think tanks lecture series on “Scientific and Technological Innovation and Digital Economy" was planned by ZGC Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance) and ASEAN-China Center jointly and launched by them. Chen Dehai, secretary-general of ASEAN-China Center, and Wu Jianmin, chairman of ZGC Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance and dean of Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, attended the event and delivered speeches. Li Junkai, secretary-general of ZGC Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance, presided over the event. The series of lectures was held online for 2 days, and several branch venues were located in Shenyang, Liaoning, Urumqi, Xinjiang, Zhangjiakou, Hebei, Shiyan of Hubei province and other places. Each lecture was attended by about 1000 people from cities in China and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries including Myanmar, Brunei, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and the Philippines. 

In Wu Jianmin’s speech, he pointed out that this series of lectures is the joint exploration and practice by the Alliance and its partners in cultivating digital talents. ASEAN countries are China's friendly neighbors linked by mountains and rivers, and China's important partners in the priority direction of promoting the construction of "Belt and Road Initiative. As a platform for non-governmental multilateral exchanges in science and culture, the Alliance is committed to gathering global wisdom and serving innovation and development. This lecture series by the Alliance also contributes wisdom and strength to scientific and technological innovation and digital economy through open sharing. 

The series of lectures invited four well-known experts in the field of scientific and technological innovation and the digital economy in China. Xu Heping, the former director and research fellow of the Research Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the following well-known experts from the council members of the Alliance are included: Li Zhiqi, special research fellow of the Counselor's Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, vice chairman of Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce, and chairman of the Vitalization International Institute; Shu Cheng, chairman and CEO of Suirui Group Co., Ltd., and Yu Jiang, research fellow and doctoral supervisor Institutes of Science and Development of Chinese Academy of Sciences of the Chinese Center for Strategic Studies of the Science of Industry. 

  The following personnel participated in the event: representatives of the council members of the Alliance, headers and backbones of ASEAN-China Center, Shenyang Bureau of Science and Technology, Urumqi Science and Technology Bureau, Shiyan Science and Technology Bureau, Shenyang Industrial Technology Research Institute, Beijing Science and Technology International Exchange Center, Zhangjiakou Association for Science and Technology, Beijing City University and Beijing Zhongguancun Information Valley Asset Management Co., Ltd., representatives of high-tech enterprises and backbones of scientific research and management of the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology. 

The content of this series of lectures is closely related to the cutting-edge trend. The experts dived into the research in their lectures. They made the lectures understandable and were praised by all the participants. Each lecture was followed by an interactive session. Participants said that they were benefited a lot from the lectures, not only broadening their horizons and understanding, but also enriching the knowledge reserve, which has important guiding significance for their future work. 

The "Voices of Think Tank" series of lectures was launched by the ZGC Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance Secretariat and has so far successfully held 8 sessions. The content of the lectures focused on the current hot trend, and experts and scholars from council members of the Alliance were invited to share their views. In the future, the Alliance will continue to rely on the High-level expert resources of the Alliance's council members to spread the views of think tanks, make the voices of think tanks, and contribute intellectual support to global economic and social development.
